Dr. Nichole Jones (LMHC)
LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR
I am Nichole Jones, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida with a Doctorate and Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. For the past 18 years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, discover their strengths, and create meaningful change.
My approach to therapy is strengths-based, solution-focused, and collaborative. I believe that each person possesses unique abilities and resilience, and my role is to help clients identify and build upon those strengths while developing practical strategies to overcome obstacles. I specialize in supporting adults and older adults who are experiencing life transitions, stress, anxiety, and adjustment-related concerns.

Throughout my career, I have worked with clients facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, family conflict, divorce, parenting concerns, communication difficulties, self-esteem issues, multicultural concerns, caregiver stress, racial stress and trauma, and women’s issues. I understand that seeking support can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
My therapeutic style incorporates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Together, we will work to identify goals, build effective coping skills, and create solutions that support your overall well-being and personal growth.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Xavier University and completed my postgraduate education at Troy University and Argosy University. My passion for counseling continues to be fueled by the opportunity to help individuals move through difficult seasons, embrace change, and achieve greater balance and fulfillment in their lives.
I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, growth, and lasting positive change.
