Do you offer online counseling?
Absolutely. We provide online counseling sessions to accommodate your preferences and ensure accessibility. Online sessions are conducted via a secure platform to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
When can you reach 3AM Counseling Services?
You can reach us by phone from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, daily. Our appointment times are flexible, so we do our best to work with your schedule. If you contact us outside those hours, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
How can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any fees. You will have access to a secure medical portal where you can mange appointments, contact us, and send messages directly to your counselor.
What types of therapy do you offer?
We offer a variety of therapy options, including individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, and group sessions. Our therapists are trained in multiple therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and more.

What happens in your first session with 3AM Counseling Services?
Your first session is a chance for you and your therapist to get to know each other. You can share what brought you in, what you hope to change, and any concerns you have. Your therapist will ask a few questions to better understand your needs and help create a plan that fits you. You do not need to prepare anything special—just come as you are.
What should you do if you need urgent mental health support?
If you feel unsafe or may act on thoughts of self-harm, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room right away. If you are in the U.S. and need immediate emotional support, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. For urgent but non-emergency concerns, reach out to a local crisis line or your nearest emergency services.
Can you pay privately if you are not using insurance?
Yes, you can pay privately if you are not using insurance. If you have questions about self-pay, contact us before your appointment so you can review the details and choose the option that works best for you.
How does your online therapy process work?
Your online therapy sessions are held through a secure virtual platform, so you can meet with your therapist from a private location that feels comfortable for you. You will schedule your session, log in at the appointment time, and meet one-on-one with your therapist just as you would in person. This makes care easier to access while still keeping your sessions confidential.
Do you offer virtual therapy to clients in Florida and New York?
Yes. We provide virtual counseling for clients in Florida and New York, when services are clinically appropriate and allowed by licensing requirements. If you're unsure whether we can see you in your state, reach out and we’ll help you confirm your options.
What do I need for a virtual therapy session?
You’ll need a device with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a private place where you can talk comfortably. If possible, log in a few minutes early so you can settle in before your session begins.
How long is a typical therapy session?
Most therapy sessions are about 45 to 60 minutes long, depending on your treatment plan and the type of service you receive. If your appointment length is different, your therapist will let you know in advance.
How do I know if you accept my insurance?
We accept most insurance plans, but coverage can vary by provider and plan. If you’d like, contact us with your insurance information and we can help you check your benefits before your first appointment. Private pay is also available.
Is online counseling confidential and secure?
Yes. Your sessions are held on a secure platform designed to protect your privacy. We take confidentiality seriously and work to create a safe, supportive space for every client. As with all mental health care, there are a few legal and safety-related limits to confidentiality, which your therapist can explain during your first visit.
